Let us hope that this is the beginning of many defeats for the Tories. I cannot call them, “Conservatives,” as they defy definitions of that term, politically and in all other respects. I think of myself as conservative, at least with a small, “c,” and find that the current iteration of the Labour Party fits my definition of conservatism perfectly well. I mean, these Tories want to pass a bill that allows the government access to pensioner’s bank accounts. And their justifications are utterly illogical! As to this blood scandal, it is truly sickening. But it has been extant for long enough that all three leading parties can hang their heads in shame over this. Only, the conservatives get to hang their heads somewhat lower now.
