  1. We need to accept that Nation Building doesn’t work, and hasn’t worked since WWII. It was not wrong to go, but we should have targeted the Saudis who funded and planned Taliban terrorism. Why are we denying visas to our allies though? I don’t get that at all?

  2. Stop pretending anyone is, “unique,” in this. Your brainwashing stops you from seeing the truth. It’s a mess. Biden’s dropped the ball here. But, he ain’t special. God alone knows what trump would have failed to do? It doesn’t bear thinking about . . .

  3.  @branjosnow6244  : IKR? . . . Maybe ripping off the bandaid will turn out to be the best of all outcomes? I find the partisan trolling sickening, as I imagine most Americans do? But, at least it reminds everyone why they don’t want another trump type back in the White House . . . There’s that?

  4.  @vforwombat9915  : We did a pretty awesome job with Germany too. Especially after Russia stole some of it. The Marshall Plan broke Stalin’s will. But, these are utterly different culture’s we’re talking about. Europeans, with common ground and values, or the Japanese, who obeyed their Emperor in all things, and thus, obeyed him in his command to cooperate with the West. Nothing like that can happen with Muslim cultures. At least, not unless they could round up all their top Ayatollahs, Imams, etc, and have them all sing from the same hymn sheet, AND convince their followers they were speaking freely and not under duress. Never gonna’ happen. But, the Nation Building part of this is NOT on Joe Biden’s administration. That’s all on Bush Jr and Obama. Trump and Biden are, in essence, in agreement, so maybe just ripping off the bandaid is the kindest thing? But, getting partisan about all this is beyond childish.
