And, “technically,” you might call it a Constitutional Monarchy, but it’s, “actually,” a Democracy. It has no formal, “Constitution,” either, but its Constitution is very real, standing upon Precedents, built, one upon the other, into an edifice we think of as our legal system, which goes back further than Magna Carta, evolving and developing to meet the requirements of a changing world. The UK actually has the fairest and strongest Democracy (arguably?) in the world. It has its problems with corruption and long standing traditions and institutions which protect corruption, but you would be hard pressed to find a better one on the planet. When you move around, you learn to appreciate these things. Believe me, “biglee,” when I tell you, you live in a Democracy and it happens to be true that Blighty is Best 😉

  20. Surrender Trump doesn’t get to call anyone, “Jihadi,” anything. If he’d included the Afghani, “government,” in that, “historic peace treaty,” at Camp David (which has recently been removed from the GOP’s and Donny’s websites, oddly enough?) then maybe he’d have been able to style it out? As we’re now cleaning up HIS mess, I’d say Joe is doing a pretty awesome job?
