Putin made a speech begging for mercy, asking the west to stop with the sanctions. Good. Time to double down until he backs down and leaves. Or let his people overthrow him, rather than starve. It’s working. This is an armed robbery, for Ukraine’s massive gas and oil reserves. Putin has prevented Ukraine developing them, until they found reserves in the west where he can’t reach them.
