  4. Sal Khan Prophecy is not "cause". Merely a prediction. God gets a bad press for catastrophes, but that's usually because people interpret the Bible (or other Holy Scriptures) through the filter of their own ideas and prejudices, AND, they often turn to "Religious" leaders, to help them interpret what they've read, only to be told what THAT guy either, thinks they want to hear, thinks will suit his own agenda or thinks will fill his coffers. People of true faith should avoid "Religion" like a plague, ESPECIALLY at times of crisis. They should gather and pray together, sure. But they should be VERY careful as to whom they trust to lead them

But don't get mad at people who are angry that their governments (past AND present) have not done enough for them on climate change, when they see the rest of the world taking the issue far more seriously and coping better, after they've exhausted themselves with calls to their leaders to try to WARN THEM that these days would come! For some of these people, humour is ALL they have as a coping mechanism. AND it IS, therefore, VERY MUCH a political issue. Trump's attitude has frightened those who are smart enough to understand what's at stake, here. Whatever you believe to be the "cause" it is indisputable that the climate of the world has ALWAYS changed and that a society that does not prepare for that, or want to listen to its experts, must suffer the consequences. So CAN YOU BLAME people for commenting, even "joking" about this? Get off your high horse for a moment, and stand in the shoes of someone who has been trying to get their leaders to LISTEN to them and are now facing the loss of their homes, businesses and communities
