  1. I'm pretty progressive but I think the argument that military spending prevents universal Healthcare is false. We can literally afford both. Universal Healthcare would be a boon to small businesses and entrepreneurs, like youtubers releasing detailed videos on military hardware and news. Honestly I think restricting engineers is the smartest way to get them to think creatively. When they work to get under limitation and come back with great resonating why those limitations should be increased then maybe you increase them. The important aspect though is to make sure the power plant and power reserve has enough capacity to ensure it's still capable of moving quickly on the battlefield even after later inevitable upgrade push the weight up. Power limitation are why many weapon systems and ships are reaching the end of their upgrade potential without a new overhaul, which would be essentially creating anew design anyway. Ultimately any engineered solution will be a list of compromises. We all want the unicorn IFV that has more protection than an underground bunker, more speed than an f1, more Firepower than two Abrams, and is light enough to be lifted by a Blackhawk or parachuted into the battlefield, and skates across mud and rivers and mines like a hovercraft.
