Comments by "Grave Peril" (@graveperil2169) on "Russia’s war: What are cluster bombs and thermobaric weapons?" video.
the only reason people banned cluster bombs was that not all the bomblets explode so can end up acting as mines, thermobaric weapons are standard most people have them they are just fuel air bombs

@bernicejackson6564 no he applied to join the EU which will not happen for years us the Ukraine does not meet the requirements basicly it was a PR stunt
3
got good at killing people they still act like amateurs
2
@jondiebe4193 no as they are not illegal
2
@ordocastus its a shame the UK banned them but they got rolled into the landmine ban and the UK no longer thought it would have to fight a real war, I guess in the end if it gets real we can always use them anyway and say sorry after
2
@abdelrahman6319 cluster bombs are designed for troop concentrations and airfields, nuclear bombs are designed to kill city's they have been shown to be ineffective against armoured targets
2
thermobaric weapons/ Fuel air bombs instead of having a single explosive charge have a small charge that spreads out a spray of fuel into the air and then this is then exploded creating a greater blast its a bit like flour/coal dust explosions, Cluster bombs are just lots of small bombs released over an area from a single missile only issue is that not all the bomblets explode so they end up acting like mines so can kill people long after the war is over

@meandego by the time russian has control of the Ukraine Russia will be begging for food parcels as there population flees
1
nato has not attacked Ukraine its the Russians doing the invading
1
@Powerstudio124 Ukraine applied to NATO in truth ukraine adds nothing to NATO so they are a poor country so nato gains nothing from having it as a member apart from someone else to defend
1
@Powerstudio124 yet when russia control ukraine it will be in contact with lots of Nato states
1
@First • 15 years ago "Once an almost daily occurrence in Baghdad, large bomb attacks have slowed since ISIL was defeated on the battlefield in 2017."
1
@myawallaceee Putin does the French nukes are not part of NATO just the UK ones
1
true but no one one cares about the Afghanistan, Iraq if the west was not killing them they would be killing each other so who cares if they die
1
@emerdigiorgio3594 yes but their nukes are not :)
1
@meandego there banks are closing they can not open there stock exchange due to fear that all their stocks will collapse, there ships can nor dock in EU ports companies across Europe are pulling out of deals they have with Russia even there underground system has stopped working as apple pay no longer works in Russia so they can not get tickets the Ruble has halved in value even china is staying neutral and china was supposed to be the one that they could turn to for support
1
@theonly6359 he though that he would have control of Ukraine in 24hrs and it would be a done deal, Europe and the world would have same harsh words and a few minor sanctions but thats would be it Germany would delay the pipeline for a bit then it would al go back to normal, Instead days after the start Ukraine is still fighting the world is cutting Russia off as if they was north korea
1
no not even close
1
any direct attacks against civilians are illegal, but if they get in the way between a military target that's just hard luck
1
its not the 15th yet
1
@trackuniverse9121 War is illegal but we all seam to have these big armies of paid killers
1
yes
1
@baer0083 yes they are just weapons of war designed to kill and destroy its what wars are about
1
@jondiebe4193 for using those weapons no why would anyone
1
they are only ileagal if you agreed to make them ileagal those that thought they would be fighting wars did not sign up to make them illegal
1
true but as resistance gets greater its likely that russian will take the kid gloves off and start killing people by the grid square
1
they are not illegal its just a voluntary ban and the US did not ban them
