  3. SFU did a research paper around 2010 that showed Vancouver BC could save $800,000/year by doing just that. But the majority of savings would come from the reduction in the police force and the police union wasn’t going to have any of that! The paper quickly disappeared.

  9.  @irritatedkitty7301  BTW, looked it up, took me 5 seconds to discover that the money for illegals comes out of the “homeless” money. 2 billion in tax credits to developers. 2 billion in kickbacks to developers. 3.7 billion to buy up commercial space. That’s 8 billion, where’s the other 12 billion going?

  10. Well I came to a realization a few years ago. In the parable of the sheep & the goats, the goats thought they were good Christian’s. They didn’t say “WTF? You’re real?” They didn’t say “damn we backed the wrong horse”. Nope they were shocked that they weren’t amongst the chosen. And then there’s the whole James 2 thing. But how many “Christians” have actually read their Bible? BTW, works like this are why churches were made tax exempt. Not so that pastors could have a different jet for each day of the week.
