  6. He was actually in the St Elmo’s society. He doesn’t have enough old money to make Skulls & Bones. Yale has the “ancient 8” secret societies. From Wikipedia St. Elmo's is a member of the “ancient eight consortium” which includes the seven other original societies at Yale: Skull and Bones, Scroll and Key, Wolf's Head, Book and Snake, Elihu, Berzelius, and Mace and Chain. I have no idea who is chosen for which society. St. Elmo’s is coed and chooses scholastically is all I can find.
