In my county, there are a million people, we have 0 covid-19 deaths under 50, and only 3 under retirement age. About 30% of all businesses are closed. People are suffering because their surgeries and physical therapy have been put on hold. Tens of millions are now unemployed. The covid stats are being manipulated, too. They're trying to make it worse than it actually is to keep us under a draconian lockdown. There is 0 reason to lock down healthy people. When you say, "safe" you mean locked up.

In my county of a million people we have 0 dead under 50 and 3 dead under 60. There are about 30 deaths from people who are over 70, 80, 90+. My family got Covid-19, and it was just a mild fever. Stanford Hospital just furloughed 12,000 workers because they have nothing to do. But the media is acting like this is a plague. Everything I've witnessed seems like this is just a flu with a govt mandated depression and media fear mongering.

  6.  @mclovin6537  SF area. Most people wear masks, but most wear them incorrectly and constantly pull them down to talk, while touching their faces. The law states that even a paper towel counts as a mask and kids 12 and under don't have to wear one. it makes no sense.

  7. I don't think so. In CA, grocery stores are packed and only half of the people wear masks. Half of them wear them incorrectly and pull them down to talk on their phones. It's useless. Also, NY subways have been open the entire time! People cry about CA beaches when it's 87 degrees... but nobody is crying about NY subways!

  10. In SF, masks are mandatory!!! But... not if you are 12 and under... because kids touch everything and run around stores. Anything will work as a mask, even a t-shirt or paper towel... which doesn't work. If you are reported for not wearing a mask, you can face a $1000 fine and prison time. But, CA already emptied the prisons because of Covid-19... I guess if I don't pay the fine, I'll be under house arrest, which is where I am now because of this lockdown.

The funniest part is where the Koch Bros were building "green factories" and if you were against them, college students said, "You are shills for the Koch Bros." I laughed the whole time.

  14.  @rits219  You don't need to test 327,000,000 people in the USA. It's costly, impractical, improbable, and if someone is negative, they can still get the virus a week later. You could test people who want to be tested or people who work around the elderly, since they are high risk! A polio vaccine is fine, but this is a covid virus. It is like the common cold, and it mutates. You'll need a shot every year forever. Then the govt wants mandatory flu shots every year, too. How many annual shots do we all need? Also, everyone I know virtue signals about getting a flu shot. Then they all say, "I feel terrible." Three months later, they say, "I got the flu, even though I got the shot and I feel terrible again!" Every year! My mom worked with the Gates Foundation and they used new vaccines in India. 8,000 girls were sterilized as a side effect. The Gates Foundation was kicked out of India. Now Bill Gates is saying he wants to lower the Earth's population and he wants annual vaccines for everyone. He wants this tied to your ID as well. There is also talk about a social control system like China. If you don't get all of your annual shots, you aren't allowed to travel. There is also a push for a no cash money system, where everything is virtual. What better way to control people than to merge these? If you want access to your own money, you will do what Big Govt says to do. All of these things are happening right now as the US economy is being destroyed because the govt made it illegal to go to your own job. It would be different if the businesses in my county were closed because of deaths, but only 3 people under retirement age have died in my county. (Approx 1 million people.) 3 out of a million?! Everyone I know who gets the Covid-19 has mild symptoms. Even the old people in nursing homes. We need to open up the country again before half of my friends are homeless.

  19. No. You are wrong. In my county of a million in CA, we have 2 deaths below retirement age. 2 out of a million. And studies are showing that 5%-7% of the state has been infected. The Covid deaths are people who died WITH IT, not FROM IT. Now they are counting all flu and pneumonia deaths without testing the bodies. They are artificially pumping up the numbers to keep you scared and it's working because you can't do math.

  21. If you are under 70 and healthy, you have a 99.98% chance of surviving. I had it and it wasn't bad at all. I just rested, ate good food, and watched Netflix for 2 weeks.

  24. @Sand Dollar Yeah. The testing is giving lots of false positives. They use 40 amplification cycles instead of 30, so even a small amount of the virus shows positive, even if it is dead. I got a fever, bone pain, sick for 2 weeks, and fatigue for another 2 weeks. But it wasn't bad if I ate well and rested.

  43.  @anitabaker5096  I have two nurse friends who treat Covid patients in hospitals. One is in SF. One is in Seattle. The disease is real, but the media is blowing it 10x out of proportion. Are people dying? Yes. Are they old? About 80. Are they healthy? Nope. Covid is like a flu. That said, the flu kills about 50k a year, too.

  44.  @wyattjeter7891  My family got it, then I got sick at the same time. I had a fever and my bones hurt for about 30 minutes. Then it turned into a cold with fatigue. If I just watched Netflix, I was totally fine. If I walked down the street to the mailbox, I was totally exhausted. So, I stayed home for 10 days and was 100%.

  47. @violetroseish My neighbor is a nurse who treats covid patients. Some people do get severe cases and die, but what you said is true. If they have "thick blood" they can get blood clots in their lungs or brain and die from those. If they have weak lungs, they can develop pneumonia and die from that. If you are on chemotherapy, that is a problem. But healthy people have little to worry about.

  49.  @imaimeemiami7480  I know more people who died from the seasonal flu or drowned in the local pool. I only know 1 person who knows someone who died from covid and she was a 94 year old in a nursing home in NY. She died when Cuomo ordered Covid patients into the homes, killing thousands.
