  2. US will throw Australia to the wolves if it means protecting its interests. Remember how the Kurds were fighting ISIS on the side of the west (mostly America) and trump promptly drop them off the cliff when it was convenient. Turkey basically fucked the Kurds after that fiasco. America is going to do something really stupid in West Pacific that fucked with China, and it is going to put Australia in an impossible situation with China. And America is going to throw Australia under the bus if it looks like it might lose.
