  2. This is one thing I thought about American cultural arrogance brought upon by their cultural hegemony. America has been the tastemaker, the cultural movers, they were the market to be targeted. China's rise is taking that away from the Americans and I think that is going irk them more so than all the freedom talk. When the world is moved by China, what is fashionable in China, prevailing world views shaped by Chinese culture and that is realllllyyyyy going to piss the Americans off.
