I think foreign forces had a hand in the insurrection that unconstitutionally ousted Yanuckovitch's govt in Ukraine. Something similar was recently done in Kazakhstan. I also think that US riots during the summer of 2020 seemed suspiciously like an attempt to destabilize the constitutionally elected govt of Donald Trump. But of course when other Americans rioted right back in Jan-6-2021, then suddenly that was declared to be an illegitimate insurrection -- and also magically declared to be "white supremacist." It seems like Euro-centrist lobbies are acting as kingmakers by deciding who gets to be declared "white supremacist" and delegitimized/repudiated, in order to keep their American vassal state in its place.

@Filip Tůma - NATO is oriented against Russia. Naturally, Russia will object to such an arrangement. The question is why does NATO continue to exist when the Soviet Union no longer exists? The answer was provided by NATO's original framer, President Eisenhower, who darkly warned of a military-industrial complex which fed off war. So the goal is to treat Russia antagonistically, and when Russia responds in kind, then cite that as justification for hostilities, in a never-ending loop of Cold War. Meanwhile, Biden and his spokesperson Psaki publicly welcome "stiff competition from China". So China's glass is treated as half-full, while Russia's glass is treated as half-empty. Single-minded focus on Russia as a central threat while ignoring the rise of the authoritarian Chinese Communist Party govt, in spite of the fact that China's economy is an order of magnitude larger than Russia's. This lopsided asymmetry is a recipe for disaster. Nixon's overtures to China were meant to contain the Soviets, and helped to make China into the huge economic dragon it is today. I'm reminded of President Theodore Roosevelt's private letters confiding that he had supported Imperial Japanese militarism in order to distract Russia in the Far East. What could go wrong? People found out at Pearl Harbor. Later, Carter's National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski thought it would be a great idea to support jihadists to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. What could go wrong? People found out on 9-11. Likewise, in the years and months to come, people in Taiwan may find out what else can go wrong, when it comes to current US policies.

@mioszduby2842 - that's nonsense. Certainly the Russians feel threatened by NATO. Look at how NATO destroyed its defensive founding charter by attacking, invading, and occupying a foreign non-member country. Look at all the color revolutions that have swept eastern Europe. Look at the rioting that conveniently erupted in Kazakhstan during Putin's faceoff with the West. Mere coincidence? I think not. Likewise, look at the non-stop ethnic rioting that engulfed USA when Trump asked NATO countries to pay their fair share. Look at how Trump was accused of being a puppet of Putin, under the flimsiest of pretexts. There's something strange going on, here. It looks like Cold War hardliners are manipulating politics to prosecute the Cold War, which they've become irrevocably invested in.

@Miłosz Duby - I think Russia is legitimately concerned about NATO expansionism, which is primarily being done through fomenting of civil unrest, as was seen in Kiev in 2014, and more recently in Kazakhstan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2XNN0Yt6D8 Since Russia's conventional military is more powerful, the Cold Warriors in the West don't want to provoke a direct military showdown, and instead want to proceed by the "color revolution" method of ousting govts through civil unrest. Even the govt of Trump faced similar threats when he dared to demand NATO countries pay their fair share, and was suddenly targeted with a witch hunt that claimed he was the stooge of Moscow. This was followed by non-stop ethnic rioting, including over statues from an American Civil War that ended 162 years ago. It shows that far from being the leader of NATO, America is really just its vassal state.
