  1. Rubbish, accession to the EU is a complicated legal process that takes it's time. In the meanwhile the EU can keep sending monetary and military aid, Ukraine doesn't need to be an EU member for that. Given how the EU has reacted to the crisis in the last couple of days Zelenskyy's position has been greatly strengthened. So much for "Russia is immune to sanctions", in less than 24 hours Putin is already mewling about nukes. LMAO
