  1. Russia doesn't get to decide Ukraine's (or any other nations) policies at the threat of war:/ If Putin's first action against it is the invasion, he never cared for peace to begin with. He just needs a boogeyman in the west to keep his people afraid.

Private interests (Putin's oligarchs, corporations, etc) having the say in a democracy (Or any form of government) leads to corruption. And dictators SHOULD be dealt with. But not for the profit of private interests. That being said, democracy is the best form of government in history:) And its enemies (Putin etc) deserve harsh retribution.

EDIT: This is not a failure of democracy, this is a toxicity of private interests.

A nation of Russia's size, population, and resources should not be this poor. Makes you wonder why Putin is the richest man on Earth. No other leader R@pe$ their own nation to this degree.
