  1. Wagner Group are the same as the Waffen SS, another paramilitary organisation which also had a self-sacrificing fighting style. The Waffen SS often suffered heavier casualties than the regular German army units, but were often more determined to get the job done despite heavy casualties. However, the Waffen SS were more indoctrinated with Nazi ideology, and were therefore more brutal and more likely to commit war crimes, like killing prisoners and murdering civilians. The same is true of the Wagner Group.
