  3.  @Orbit_Corona : F-16s can drop nuclear bombs - but the US is not supplying Ukraine with nuclear bombs. The Ukrainian pilots can’t drop something that they don’t have. So that’s a non-issue.

  4.  @GegeDxD : Ukrainian personnel can operate NATO-supplied missiles and jets on their own, once they have received training on the systems by NATO officers. It’s no different from Soviet officers training North Vietnamese personnel how to operate Soviet supplied missiles and jets during the Vietnam War.

  5. Slovakia and Hungary are free to declare neutrality and leave NATO at any time, if they aren’t happy being in NATO anymore. The US will do nothing concrete to stop them (beyond words).

  6.  @VasiliDemetrio : Correct. Although it’s high time NATO changed that rule from a 100% vote in favour to a 90% vote in favour. Then 29 out of 32 votes would be enough to let a new nation join.

  7.  @VasiliDemetrio  : Countries that oppose the US should not be NATO members. Simple as that really. It's hypocritical to be opposed to the US and then still expect the US to protect you if you get attacked.

  8.  @Wvavy  : None of Biden, Harris, or Trump would do that. Biden and Harris wouldn’t go against the wishes of those countries’ presidents or governments, and Trump would happily shut down US bases just to save money.

  9.  @Northman-from-the-North : True. But Trump doesn’t care about America’s reputation, only his own. Few people remember that it was Trump that signed a treaty with the Taliban to withdraw all US troops out of Afghanistan - that’s because the final pull out took place in 2021, after Biden won the 2020 election, and so Biden got all the blame for abandoning the Afghans. So Trump would have no hesitation or remorse about abandoning the Ukrainians to Russian occupation. So Ukraine is hoping he doesn’t get back in the White House.
