Russia is already diverting forces from other sectors to the Kursk sector - and because the Ukrainians are on the defensive in the other sectors, they can’t pin those Russian forces down where they are. I fear a repeat of last year’s ill fated Ukrainian offensive, if the Ukrainian commanders get carried away with their local success.

  5. Putin doesn’t care about the loss of life. It’s part of the Russian mindset after losing millions of men in WW2 - casualties don’t matter.
