@SP-ml9je : Russia (President Boris Yeltsin) recognised Ukrainian independence on 2 December 1991. So did Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev a few days later. Deal with it bro.

Danis : Revolution in Europe? I seem to remember Lenin operating on that assumption when his Bolshevik Red Army stormed into Poland in 1920. The idea was, after Poland fell, workers and socialists all over Europe would rise up against their leaders. But things didn’t work out that way, because the Poles won the decisive Battle of Warsaw and drove the Bolsheviks back into Ukraine. Lenin was forced to make peace with Poland, giving up a lot of territory in Belarus and Ukraine to Poland, and the great European workers revolution never happened. Putin, like Lenin, is falling into the trap of believing his own propaganda.
