  1. I don't think those 2 things are connected. Russia needed those ammo and fuel dumps in those positions anyway, to support its own offensive.

  4.  ♠️ Манька Облигация  : Russian propaganda. No-one believes it anymore except Russians and their international friends like North Korea. Only a minority of people in Donetsk and Luhansk wanted to separate from Ukraine in 2014, but Russia gave those people arms and military support so they started a revolt and took over a third of the territory. Ukraine was simply trying to put down the revolt and recover its internationally recognised territory - just as Russia did back in 1999 when Islamist fighters from Chechnya invaded the Russian province of Dagestan and tried to cause an Islamist revolution. If it’s OK for Russia to defend its territory, then it’s OK for Ukraine to do it too. Russia would have done the same in Ukraine’s place.

  5.  @whoisme678  Putin doesn't need Ukraine's resources. Russia has all the resources it needs. This war is being fought because Putin is trying to rebuild the Russian Empire of 1912, and turn Russia into a great power to rival the USA.
