Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara as part of his self-proclaimed "peace mission" regarding the war in Ukraine. Ukraine did not authorize Orban to represent its interests. Similarly, the European Union emphasized that Orban's visits to Moscow, Beijing, as well as the USA with its "peace mission" towards Ukraine, do not represent the position of the EU.
