Sorry guys but thats ridiculous talking point that has been thoroughly debunked over and over. It is the same talking point the right uses to argue against a living wage. Pls stop hurting the cause. Yang has a lot to be criticized for. Fear mongering about inflation from UBI should not be one of them

@ununseptium7961 yes their business model is 1. Collecting premiums 2. Denying coverage But that's not robbing and the definition of inflation is the price increase of goods and services. Insurance companies have consistently been raising prices over the last decade. There's emperical evidence. And UBI doesn't exist yet. So trying to make the link between increased premiums and UBI seems tenuous at best.

@shinigamiryan5837 Alaskans must fight to prevent that from happening. I'm sure they will actually. When you have ppl like even Sarah Palin supporting it, I don't see how it won't overcome whatever problem they say UBI has now

@APsupportsTerrorism sure fraud but I too I'm not concerned about the semantics game. My overall point stands. His original point doesn't. It's like when the right was fear mongering that landlords would increase rent if the living wage was increased in Seattle 5yrs ago. Well here we are, zero proof exist to boost that silly theory. We cannot go around saying we can't have progressive policies just because the 1% would do this or would do that. It's just counterintuitive to the cause
