Can you not all see how this argument can devolve into one where no one on Earth is indigenous to anywhere except where humanity originated ? I can't help but equate this to mental gymnastics trying to justify Europeans conquering the Americas. It is the same logic as saying that modern Europeans have the right to back-migrate and conquer Africa or the Middle East or the Caucasus because humans related to modern Europeans once lived there millennia ago. This logic (or lack thereof) basically negates the right of anyone to have a homeland based on ethnicity, which to me equates to the mainstreaming of ethnocide.

@jameskaraganis2569 Yeah, it's pointless at this point. I think the most poignant argument for Euros remaining in the colonies is that our ancestors created these nations. But still, that doesn't mean we're indigenous to the Americas.

Where humanity originated is kind of irrelevant to the whole indigenous status argument. If humanity originated in Europe, does that mean all people are indigenous to Europe and therefore have a right to back-migrate and invade? Does it mean the same thing if we all originated in Africa? The argument logically devolves with just the slightest amount of critical thinking.

This is a stupid argument that basically destroys the whole notion that certain groups have a right to a homeland. It quickly devolves into an argument that says, if the Out of Africa theory assumed to be correct, that we all come from East Africa and hence, that is the only place to which anyone on Earth is truly indigenous.

@DadBodDrumming They also have Caucasoid admixture, but that is irrelevant. If they are not indigenous to America, then no one is indigenous to anywhere in the world. That means that no group is entitled to autonomy and self determination in their own ancestral homeland, including Europe.

@kukuri007 You're using globalist rhetoric just because you are too cognitively dissonant to admit Europeans aren't indigenous to the American continent.

Not really an apt analogy as the Romans did not mostly replace the Celtic population of Britain. The Romans left barely any genetic legacy at all, as a matter of fact. The indigenous peoples of Britain are generally a result of the ethnogenesis of Celtic and Germanic tribes. They were largely homogeneous for over 950 years after the Norman invasions. That is 250 years longer than the Maori have been inhabiting New Zealand.

@pinkandfluffysuperwokeblok9859 I hate it when Styx spews this ridiculous civnat talking point. It is so unlike him to say things that are so illogical, I can only surmise that he is being dishonest or cognitively dissonant about indigenous status.
