@Dobs R: They already accused a Black nominee of sexual misconduct in 1991; Clarence Thomas. The allegation was unfounded and politically motivated then as well. I think you're underestimating just how strong confirmation bias is among party-liners. The Left is chock-full of these contradictions. Think of their unholy alliance with Islam in spite of the fact that they also claim to champion feminism and LGBT rights.

@John Hennessey: Correct on all counts. What I'm saying is I think she'll die in the next few years. Either that or she'll be so demented and in such poor physical health that she won't be able to serve.
