@Sam-eu9go It is strange, isn't it? Cognitive dissonance maybe? I think the main problem is that in racial terms, people think of Caucasian instead of European/White as the racial category. Clearly there are racial differences between Europeans and Semites despite them being part of a larger overarching category. That is why I never use the term "White" or "Caucasian." It waters down the definition of the European race. I prefer indigenous European, but that said, the Ashkenazim have been in Europe for almost 2000 years. That's longer than the Anglo-Saxons have been in the British Isles and over twice as long as the Maori have inhabited New Zealand. So recently I have began reconsidering whether the Ashkenazim/Sephardi can be considered European. I'm still inclined to say they are not, because they lack Yamnya admixture. But then again, that would mean all European groups who lack Yamnya admixture and have been race mixed into oblivion by Arabs and Moors (Most Spaniards, Italians, Greeks, etc.) are also not European any longer.
