If your flight is taking off from Canada, it's flying under the exact same rules. It doesn't matter who owns the plane.

@bonsang1073 It doesn't matter. It's a federal regulation. It's presumably different on a private flight but this affects all commercial flights.

@bonsang1073 Now that I think about it, even on a commercial flight, if you buy enough seats so that you're no closer than 2 meters from anyone, you could fly without a mask. I suspect the crew would be very confused but I believe that's the letter of the law.

@Jack Sprat I believe the grown up shaped children taking their anger out by attacking and generally abusing flight attendants are not examples anyone should be emulating.

@bonsang1073 Yup, like I said, private flights are presumably different. There's not much to it. Masks are required in screening areas, in flight if unable to physically distance and under any special circumstances that may come up later. That's about it and you likely won't have to worry about it for much longer.

@Jack Sprat I can't think of any reason I would refer to any vast swath of humanity as all being anything, sane or what have you. That kind of thinking is based mostly on ignorance and fear and doesn't help anyone.

@Jack Sprat For a lot of people, for sure. For me, it's about civic duty and family as I have family members in high risk groups.
