  4. Wow... The reason why China is such a oppressive place to live is all because of the presidency of Xi Jinping! Not because of the Socialist system. China is extremely authoritarian and nationalistic which actually indicates a political right wing stance despite Xi Jinping being called Center Left. This contradicts what a political left individual stands for. UK's reformed Labour party wasn't a dictatorship. It was lead by a democratic socialist, named Jeremy Corbyn. He was the solar opposite to Xi Jinping. Anti-Authoritarian and anti-Nationalistic and pro-internationalist. He wanted to distribute all the UK's wealth through out the majority of the UK by implementing a socialist system which gave workers the rights to claim ownership to the labor they produce. The harder you work for the company you work for, the more money you make on top of your salary. while also ONLY nationalizing essential UK services, like the NHS, the Mail services, the water reserves and the UK railway system. (Which the conservatives copied Labour's idea on nationalizing the railway services. <-- btw) Sounds pretty good right? Oh! Did you also know that Jeremy Corbyn won the International Gandhi Peace Prize for helping to successfully end the Northern Ireland crisis, and thus saving thousands of lives? During the election campaigns, the Right wing media deliberately demonized Corbyn as a scary red communist to make him less electable. All so that the rich elite running these companies could keep their assets and continue dodging tax. Corbyn wanted to put the tax dodgers to justice. This threatened the rich elitists way of life. Most of all these major media companies have connections with conservative MP's too. Companies like. (The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, The Sun, The Express) Boris Johnson was also bribed a £15,000 Holiday by The Carphone Warehouse over New years eve, While Corbyn remained in the UK handing out gifts to the homeless with a local charity. I despise what crap hole the UK has become, and we lost out on what possibly could have been the best British prime minister in UK history! Democratic Socialism doesn't = Dictatorship/communism.
