@Naanhanyrazzu They certainly care about emergency vehicles. Germany and the Netherlands have a treaty, allowing them access and giving them a certain amount of authority. This is not an EU wide thing. Emergency vehicles, and especially police, can't just drive around in other countries and certainly not with their emergency lights on. The Dutch and Belgians have an even further reaching treaty, and their police can act with almost the same authority as in their own country.
