IDF expands operations in Khan Younis area, southern Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the expansion of their operation in the Khan Younis area and the launch of an offensive against Hamas in the southern city. During this operation, several significant incidents have been recorded.
In one of the incidents, soldiers from the Parachute Brigade discovered a Hamas agent emerging from a tunnel with an RPG grenade launcher. In response, the IDF threw grenades at both the agent and the tunnel.
The paratroopers were also reported to have identified Hamas gunmen inside a building and carried out a tank attack against them.
In Khan Younis, troops from the 7th Armored Brigade identified a Hamas operative at a close distance and carried out a drone strike against him.
In another incident, the IDF identified a group of Hamas gunmen in a building and ordered an airstrike to neutralize them.
In northern Gaza, the IDF's 460th Armored Brigade reported killing several Hamas gunmen in various clashes involving airstrikes, sniper fire, machine gun fire, and tank shelling.
One of the notable incidents involved a Hamas operative armed with an RPG who was heading towards troops, and was killed by IDF fire.
Additionally, in Jabaliya, Brigade 261 conducted a search at the home of a Hamas operative, where weapons and documents related to Hamas were found, the IDF reported.
