you can't make this stuff up! just too funny. The Greens in Germany, now in government, looking to increase Germany's carbon emissions as much as possible by importing Colombian coal!

@thegreatdane3627 anyone who is 100% sure there will be enough energy to keep all thermostats at 19 degrees winter after winter after winter needs to think again. anyone who assumes the state can assure every single person can afford 19 degrees winter after winter after winter is making a mistake. would that be you, little dane? anyone you know caught hypothermia yet? give it time.

that would be news that would be broadcast to the world. importing coal from Indonesia not a story that would grab headlines, so the German Greens can get away with it.

@spxram4793 Wrong. Plenty of people, the wise ones, want Russian energy, Only the tiny corner of the world known as the "Western bubble" refuse to accept Russian fuel. Wind, solar, hydrogen too expensive and don't generate enough power, so the West will start to move back to the Stone Age. Welcome to reality.

@morphkogan8627 so, it's very interesting that the other two thirds of the German government are willing to import coal and create loads more emissions than Russian gas would create, yet the Greens are not in revolt over that. Confirmation that the Greens are only Greens when Russophobia isn't around.

who is buying this "Green hydrogen" nonsense? you know, during these meetings, German officials are asking "how about just loads of coal for regular burning like, China style, in the next few weeks?"

@thegreatdane3627 remember, little chihuahua, 19 degrees is just an estimate for now. If Germany has a sub tropcal winter, could go up to 20! If a long, freezing spell sets in, could go down to.....hmm, cold enough for the old and needy to freeze to death. am sure the funds you have will be donated for their burials.

@thegreatdane3627 not for the first time, you are wrong. Europe has continued to fund the enemy by buying enormous amounts of Russian energy all through this conflict. How do you think your gas storage got full? Moreover, your dumb leaders were forced to pay in rubles, so the ruble strengthened, and the euro sank. Russian revenues from energy have increased, as European actions raised the price of energy worldwide. A total failure for Europe. Of course, the energy companies will be fine, but the poor and needy will get totally screwed. you'll see, but nice enough to know you can afford 19 degrees forever more. at least you will be fine, don't worry about those in a worse position:) "fuel poverty" was an unknown phrase in the UK until this year. Now everyone knows it, and many are suffering from it. the policies you support are absolutely crushing the poor in Europe. Happy?

@thegreatdane3627 when you say Europe will be just fine, do you think Europe will buy up much of the world's LNG at prices way beyond the price of Russian gas, and will also outbid countries like Bangladesh, who will then be left without their usual LNG. Screw the poor of the world, but Europe will be just fine:)

@thegreatdane3627 I'm guessing your lack of concern for the poor in Bangladesh is matched by Zelensky's lack of concern for his own people, right? Zelensky hasn't sold his Miami mansion, nor his villa in Tuscany, so clearly he himself is not willing to contribute financially. Now I see why he is a man after your own heart! Screw the unfortunate people, just make sure I'm fine!
