  1. Depends if you are in a good position to repay added debt. Given that Germany is determined to deindustrialize and commit suicide in the face of competition from Japan and China, not many banks will be up for lending even more to a failing economy already in recession. Cheap Russian energy would have helped convince lenders, but Germany chose to throw that trump card out the window.
