  2. yep. energy prices will fall when a Recession hits, less output in a slump means demand falls. so, let's celebrate that a recession has hit.

  3.  @calisto2735  "astronomical" means people who previously could afford to pay their energy bills but who now have fallen into fuel poverty and can't afford it. congratulations to you. your income has increased to a degree that matches the increase in your bills. spare a thought for those poorer than you whose lives have changed to an astronomical extent. or, maybe not, maybe just remain smug, wealthy and condescending.
