The West squirming as it tries desperately to avoid confessing that Russia has demilitarized NATO. Ukraine has to keep begging for weapons because the West doesn't have much more to give, hence the rallying call of NATO, "Look, Russia is running out of weapons!" Russia won that card game.

Mike Martin, previously so dismissive of Russia's capacity to wage war indefinitely, now confessing the West is having supply problems. BIG turnaround.

Deluded Mike Martin STILL talking about a Ukrainian offensive in Zaporizhe! Hey, Mike, while Zelensky is set on serving up as much Ukrainian cannon fodder into the Wagner meatgrinder in Bakhmut, there ain't gonna be a Zaporizhe offensive! Read what Zaluzny himself said in the Economist!

@ADITYAKUMAR-mb5ht Rishi trying to blame someone else, as always
1
@nigeljohnson9820 "restocking" = ordering, in panic, for years ahead "Russia has used most of its missile stock"...we have been told this since March. getting a bit stale.
1
@ericdpeerik3928 either it ran out of weapons, or it is choosing to refuse to send weapons to Ukraine. you choose.
1
@nigeljohnson9820 "involved in a war it cannot win" bla bla bla, we heard the same nonsense about Chechnya, Georgia, Syria. Russia won all three. "forced to sell at a discount" but has gained more revenues from energy sales than ever before. "No NATO troops involved"..the first NATO troops flown home in body bags will see the West sue for peace. The blubbery pampered citizens of the West can't handle real, intense war. "attacking civilian targets"...amazing how Ukraine's power grid is destroyed by attacking civilian targets. Russia just copying the West's "rules-based order" as seen in Iraq and Serbia. you should be applauding Russia. Predictions for 2023? Not for the first time in his life, Nigel Johnson will be proven 100% wrong.
1
@PalleRasmussen The West does nothing but underestimate the enemy, be it ISIS, Taliban, Vietcong or Russia. The West's arrogance knows no bounds.
1
@pogo1140 sure did, but then again it is 100,000 Ukrainian cannon fodder dead. used to be 20,000.
1
@ADITYAKUMAR-mb5ht agreed. the word "Putin" has become the excuse for any bad news
1
@nigeljohnson9820 Russia already rebuilding Mariupol. You need to start following real news. Russian civilians living there are much better off than Ukrainians in Kherson or Bakhmut or even Kiev. Check out recent videos of Luhansk. No war zone there, nor Crimea.
1
@nigeljohnson9820 Why not? Why has NATO refused to deliver its more advanced weapons?
1
@ericdpeerik3928 Zhaluzny has stated clearly, he needs 300 more tanks. why the delay in shipping over 300 tanks?
1
@PalleRasmussen the only fools that repeat the myth that Ukraine would be taken in 3 to 5 days are those who follow the Western media that created the myth. Those of us who saw how Russia operated in Cechnya and Syria knew the truth.
1
@nigeljohnson9820 Russia, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, the sanctioned nations pulling together, oh how sweet is the revenge, but demilitarizing the West is going well. Keep sending all you can to Ukraine so Russia can destroy it.
1
@PalleRasmussen but talking about failed predictions, when Biden said the Russian economy would collapse and the ruble would become rubble, when do you think he thought that would happen?
1
@nigeljohnson9820 explain why the age of the stock indicates anything. having to use Iranian drones, or choosing to use Iranian drones? Ukraine is using all NATO supplied equipment, so the same argument there, right, Ukraine is running out of missiles. so, let's hear your prediction. when exactly does Russia run out of missiles? seeing as you have your finger on the pulse of all Russian missile manufacturing.
1
@nigeljohnson9820 so Nigel, when I wear my old running shoes to the beach, do you assume that I have run out of newer shoes?
1
@nigeljohnson9820 so, the assumption is that old stock MUST be being used due to the assumption that parts for newer stuff ain't available, right? evidence? do you think it is possible that Russia is targeting civilian infrastructure for the same reason that USA attacked civilian infrastructure in Iraq and for the same reason that NATO attacked civilian infrastructure in Serbia? why not? So, when Russia hits a substation it is hitting its target just by luck, as it doesn't have anything accurate enough to hit said substation by intention? oh boy, how you turn yourself inside out with your warped logic! did you miss the nes item a few days ago with the remains of a Russian missile that had been made a couple of months ago?
1
@nigeljohnson9820 these "parts for anything better"....when you have been tracking such components, which countries on the globe DO have access to such components?
1
@nigeljohnson9820 Special Military Operation isn't defined by how long it takes, but war is defined by full mobilization of all available forces, which Ukraine has done, but Russia has not. That said, I fully expect Russia to go to full mobilization, such is the pressure on Putin to stop going soft on Ukraine and NATO, but hey, if you want to call it war, I'm fine with that. let's call it war.
1
@nigeljohnson9820 Of course the reason NATO attacked civilian infrastructure in Serbia is because civilian infrastructure is also military infrastructure, so Russia just copied NATO's example. Good idea, right?
1
@nigeljohnson9820 are the special components needed for modern missiles allowed to be shipped to the UAE?
1
@nigeljohnson9820 then you do some investigating old boy, but spoiler alert, sanctions don't work because there is always a middleman, like the UAE, that obtains every single component needed, legally, and sells it on to the sanctioned nation. and you seemed to have all the inside info up to this point! Happy investigating!

Total lie from Mike Martin on Russia's weapons supplies, speculating (and hoping) that microchip shortages are a problem for Russia. There is zero evidence for that, and it is to Russia's credit that it can work with allies like North Korea and Iran to highlight the plight of the West's weak defence industry.
