Very interesting video. I totally agree with you by the way. All these kids on the internet nowadays acting pseudo-puritanically sophisticated about needing to know the sources as if they were going to actually do anything scientific with them. A person who works with history does not need YouTube if not for getting the very sap of historical criticism from experts. Wondering about the reliability of a channel opens the huge question about what the ponderer would able to do even with somebody else's advice (perhaps supposed "historians"', maybe with just a bachelor degree in a second world country) and how willing they are to hear just what fuels their own insecurity. First listening to your entire work is a good idea, secondly trying to learn it, thirdly trying to understadn it, and only and finally complaining if there even were a need.

The worst is the one who says that according to Schwerpunkt people were better in the past because they were more "educated". Missing the entire point of the channel talking about the massive ups and downs within the background degeneration of moral force and confusing it with the fact that education was better a couple of generations ago as IQs are notoriously going down since the 1970s. This is what scares me: they don't even get the difference between absolute and relative: no wonder they feel hysterically threatened by this content
