  1. I love when reboots ignore a show is based on real life people. The guy that was the real Prince of Bel Air, and the show was based off of, did several interviews when the show became popular. It's based on the life of Benny Medina who was an executive producer. He was from East LA instead of Philadelphia. He moved to live with a wealthy friend to Beverly Hills. He helped create and pitch what ended up becoming The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
