  1.  @VaporeonEnjoyer1  The stamp in your passport you get when you enter is your visa. It's a tourist Visa. What you mean is you do not need to get prior authorization to enter the country, which some countries you absolutely do need to get prior to travel.

  4.  @stinkfinga4918  No they can't and it's very doubtful the new law in Texas will hold up against a challenge. The border is under federal control and so is immigration. Both fall under Presidential powers. Only Congress can act against the President in these matters and even then, it's limited. I'm really tired of people like you making comments like "they could deport them, they just don't" because you clearly lack basic Civics education. It's better to be thought a fool than opening your mouth and proving it. Edit: I'm going to start assuming these type of comments are just leftists trying to turn people against Abbot because I find it hard to believe that people with access to the internet and the ability to find this information in 2 seconds are acting in good faith.

  5. The new law won't hold up against a challenge and I'm 100% sure it will be. The very first time Abbott attempts to act on it, he'll be before a judge so fast it'll make his head spin. Though I do appreciate the attempt.

  6.  @IAmTheRealBill  I don't think this is the case for it, but Roberts has being chewing at the bit to get rulings to quash a lot of the interstate commerce clause overreach. It really is insane how much power the federal government has managed to grab from the state using it for regulatory power. As a constitutionalist myself, I've definitely been enjoying this new court. Hopefully they can set somethings right before it changes again. Obviously I don't agree with every opinion, but that's how it should be.
