Well, as I said...
Washington. November 9. The US Army, apparently, will not be able to stick to the schedule and begin equipping its first unit with hypersonic missiles by the end of 2023, Defense news reports, citing Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Doug Bush.
Another failure both in hypersonic programs in general and in the specific LRHW program (the navy is also waiting for the same missile, under a different name) - a medium-range ballistic or quasi-ballistic missile with a maneuverable non-nuclear warhead. The system not only did not have a single launch that was successful or was issued as such - it did not have a single launch at all. The next one, on October 26, did not take place either. Before that, the LRHW launched unsuccessfully in early September. Based on its results (ONE launch) π€£π€£ they planned to declare the first battery completely COMBAT READY! But it didn't work out
