Grrrrrrrr,such an obscene,un-neccesary event.The £8 million being spent on security for her funeral & which is coming out of the tax-payers' pocket is enough,on its own, to raise the hackles of many,many decent people in this once Great Nation.And the prescence of the Queen has elevated this affair beyond its importance.The whole event was ill-conceived.But at least once this is over she will be consigned to History where she belongs.

  2. Yes,we know that NOW,but we didn't when we were commenting at the time.But the real fact is unless we can view the accounts then we'll just have to take their word for it that it's £3.6 million.Whatever the figure not one tax-payer should've had to contribute to her funeral.
