  2.  @rebekahbjackal2818  rebekah, after the sarin gas thing in Tokyo in 1995, many public trash cans were removed for safety reasons. Of course they have them in hotel rooms, and you can sometimes find one in a train station, and you can also find at every convenience store and supermarket etc.
