  1. Smell the coffee. Back in the late 1980s, I was posted in a government institution. In those days serial Ramayana was screened for an hour every Sunday morning. During times of heavy workload, because of the added work schedules, the institution worked on Sundays of some weeks. On those Sundays, I recall, the staff wanted an hour’s break between 09.30 – 11.00 AM to watch the serial Ramayana. I believe the whole nation came to a standstill during the screening. BJP etc. was not even on the horizon during that period. All said and done, the “Ram Mandir” in Ayodhya will be a boost to the hospitality, travel and tourism industries while boosting the State and local economies. Tailpiece: The stock value of L&T who constructed the Ram Temple, has almost doubled in the last one year.
