  1. Getting the “opposition together” is a recipe for retrograde movement of the economy. Sample this.. 1. Regional parties will have parochial interests in all policies. 2. “Dynastic” parties, proclaimed religious parties like the Muslim leagues, Akali etc, clan based parties, caste based parties (Dalit etc…) and those parties with support base among minorities will have their own agenda... 3. If India needs to progress a Common Minimum Programme is not enough. We need a Common Maximum Programme. 4. With CMP etc India will be designed to remain a laggard democracy…while China, Bagaladesh and rest of the world have raced ahead since decades just because of our “Politics for Power”.
