Some points from a Veteran: 1. Military history (including Balakote) is as fascinating as fiction. But the effect of any small operation like Balakote is for the immediate and is pointless as a historical study. Yes, all views should be considered but note that the perspectives of the commentators will be different - some of them may really not know the real “why” of such minuscule strikes. 2. The Chinese conundrum will play out for as long as the LAC remains undefined. Resolving the issue is not with the Military. 3.
