  1. A good analysis as usual. My two bit, in regard to few who have guns… That is the problem of insurgence. A faceless enemy. The Defence forces or even the para military (who are trained to deal with the society) can’t know who have the guns and who don’t because of the ‘silent’ majority who are terrified of those who have the guns (terrorists?). A phenomenon more prominent in the border states (not surprised). Tailpiece: We the people should know these problems faced by the paramilitary and the Defence forces. Collateral damage is a collateral in handling such situations. The silent majority need to speak up and act and not speak only when there is some damage.
