  1. Nobody to beat SG in quality political commentaries. Just one point…though. It was nonchalantly mentioned that Owaisi’s Muslim party won some seats from the “Muslim dominated areas” of North Bihar - gave an impression that was a natural process and par for the course, giving an impression that some religion based parties are OK while others are not. So much for “secularism”. Tailpiece: My take is that Hindutva, secularism and majoritarianism are no longer issues in Indian politics. The opposition will do well to concentrate on development (economy, education, healthcare, infrastructure etc… etc… ) and progress (sans freebies). THAT will do our Nation more good than all else.
