No offence all around. Thomas A Edison. Einstein A., Curie M., Gates B., Jobs S. and the likes of them who have contributed quantifiably to progress of humanity were / are intelligent and not intellectuals. I wonder whether we can institute a system to measure the contribution of "intellectuals" to humanity. Tailpiece: For instance, do we need “intellectuals” to tell us China’s intentions?
