  1. US position as a leader in any sphere is in the retreat not because of this one incidence of an "attack" on the Capitol. In widely diverse Nations such as India and the USA, such mob actions should be expected. I am not saying they should happen. But rest assured they will happen. The important point is to move on and not dwell on such incidents too much. Easier said than done, when the media too is diverse, what with expert opinions and views of “formers” etc. All Americans are not like those in the MOB that attacked the Capitol. Even some in that mob are not invaders – it was planned by a few and rest was mob frenzy. Here is something more dangerous that happens in the wake of such incidents. It is all too evident in India too. For instance, take this headline in an article in The Print. “Before desi cow exam, Indians should study how to not kill dolphins and elephants for fun”. This precludes that I and probably 135.16 crore Nationals like me are NOT Indians. We know where such devious thoughts are coming from. I fervently hope that “experts” and activists do not speak for me – I am also an Indian. Likewise, desist from painting all Americans with the same brush as those” rioters”.
