  1. No proof enough to take a stand. Correct stand. But action against offending VIPs can’t be taken in anonymity with a “free media” around. You did not touch on this very very important point SG. Unless we assume that there are no VIP offenders. In a democratic-bureaucratic bureaucracy, such out of the box characters are a must for efficiency and exposing the VIP and money culture to escape the law. Sometimes the media exposure of such cases are used to claim “victimization” etc. by the corrupt and offenders. Tailpiece: Smoke without fire? Yet the Indian bureaucracy requires a major overhaul….so does the judiciary. Least of all for corruption but more for better efficiency and lesser red tapes.
