  1. Whither democracy. When the Nation is battling a once in a 1.5 life time Pandemic (by nature unpredictable), the constitutional institutions are busy apportioning blame. In a democracy, it is a given that the Government will be the punching bag. So be it. Governments change. But legacies left behind by constitutional institutions stay to haunt the Nation. It is damning to see that the even so called pillars of democracy are engaged in sparring, deflecting attention from the real issue of the pandemic. Tail piece: Not even once, not even a single time has the highest offices of justice admonished the public for not following COVID appropriate behaviour. Any one can become intelligent and know-all in hindsight! Even MLAS and party leaders and of course, also the media.
