There is a feeling in a very large section of the Indian population, that some farmers and some politicians have AS USUAL turned the representations of farmers into a political gimmick. What with talks still open and the judiciary also involved in the matter, is there a genuine reason for prolonging this “agitation”? Who represents the voice of this section of Indians who see a deja Vu in these shenanigans from all sides? Tail piece: There are “genuine demands” from the unorganized sector, from laborers, from industrial workers, from the informal economy, from MSMEs, from the industry, from airline operators and from just about all and sundry. At some point we have to get real and move on.

@StarSprangledBanner just because some farmers dont want it? There are so many such laws that concerned people don't want. For instance many want taxes to be reduced; many don't want privatisation of PSUs but want the same inefficiency to continue; bank employees donot want privatisation; informal economy donot want their businesses to be tracked; retirees do not want to pay income tax; many don't want pay hefty traffic violation fines; if the farm laws are perceived to be hurting some farmers that does not mean laws have to be repealed....at the whims snd fancies of some interested parties.
