  1. I differ in that the Chinese ambition is not territorial or military. It is just a veneer. So is this intelligence report. It will be naïve to assume this report by the US intelligence agencies placed in public domain will reveal all – an oxymoronic situation of sorts. I will add that given the global dynamics, China is definitely the strongest, not yet the most powerful, Nation by character and intend of purpose and is in a position to quickly act or react. Its sole aim is to dominate the world economically and later culturally. For India - all great powers to be always leave a window open somewhere. History is not a study of only the past; it is about the present and the future as well
